Paid Sick and Vacation time
We are proud to offer 5.2 paid days per year to be allocated by an employee as they see fit for sick days, vacation time, a cash bonus, or to be saved for a later date. After 2,000 hours of work with SNP (about 1 year full-time), employees are eligible and qualify for vacation/sick time at a rate of 8 hours of sick/vacation time for every 400 hours worked. This time does not have a "use by" date and does not expire. Employees can simply request use of their accrued hours after the one year qualifying period as they see fit at their current pay rate. One reason to hold on to sick/vacation time is it is worth more as an employees pay rate increases.

Uniform and Equipment Reimbursement
SNP allocates employees up to $0.50 per hour worked as tax free income to help officers pay for cleaning and maintenance of their uniforms and on-duty equipment. This means that an SNP officer working full-time will receive over $ 1,000 a year tax free.
Priority One Credit Union
SNP employees and training graduates are eligible to open checking and savings accounts for $5.00. Priority One Credit Union is SNP's preferred direct deposit partner. Priority One Credit Union is a non-profit institution and has eliminated many of the fees that traditional Banks charge. With branches in Burbank and throughout Southern California, Priority One Credit Union issues ATM cards, credit cards, and low interest loans. These loans are available for security training and purchasing transportation.

SNP Annual State Required Training
SNP employees are eligible to receive 16 hours of State required training at no charge after 9 months of continuous employment with SNP (may be full or part-time) and should the employee work an additional 600 hours within one year with SNP thereafter.
